These pictures were taken at Lamanai - a large Mayan ruin. The kids, Jerry and Greg climbed to the top, and Renee had to look the other way as they looked as though they were way too close to the edge! It started to rain while we were there.

The grounds at Lamanai were gorgeous. It was a nice hot day, but started raining near the end of our walk. There were three little souvenier shops, and we had a good time looking around and making a few little purchases.
Happy to be there. It was not a very long drive, but the road was fairly bumpy. We invited two of the teachers to come with us, Greg (Gr.7) and Desiree (Gr.6) and it was nice to spend time with them. We had a picnic lunch under a thatched roof shelter, and the rain was pouring down outside. It was a very beautiful place and we had a really fun time.
This is a picture from Austin's birthday party on October 16, Friday. He invited all of the boys from his class and one from Grade 5. They were a very well-behaved bunch. They started by playing volleyball down at the park below, then came up for pizza and chips. vegies and cake. They watched a movie for a bit and then played a shorter version of the game Risk. Austin enjoyed his day.
